C2REM Opens East Coast Office

C2REM is pleased to announce the opening of an East Coast office in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. This office is strategically located to serve clients in the mid-Atlantic states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.

Mr. James K. Spata, who has over thirty years experience in the environmental field, will head the East Coast office. Mr. Spata has been employed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (1971-1974), Bethlehem Steel Corporation (1974-1980), and Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (1980-2001). Mr. Spata's unique agency/industry perspective provides the appropriate balance needed to facilitate cost-effective but environmentally sound solutions to today's environmental problems.

Mr. Spata had been the Manager of Environmental Affairs for Air Products Chemicals Group for over eighteen years. In this capacity, Mr. Spata was responsible for all of the Chemicals Group environmental related activities throughout the world. This included defining and meeting the company's environmental goals for over twenty manufacturing facilities; managing the Group's Superfund/RCRA liabilities; as well as conducting Environmental Assessments for new plant sites and/or acquisitions in North and South America, Europe, and Asia.

C2REM is an environmental management, engineering and development company founded in Irvine, California in 1995. Our focus is to represent clients in resolving environmental liability issues associated with hazardous materials and to assist in the environmental aspects of real estate transactions, including remediation and the subsequent development of upgraded properties.
